Welcome to The Essence of Beauty (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or visiting our premises, you (“you” or “the client”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

These Terms govern the use of our services, including but not limited to all skin, nail, and body treatments offered at The Essence of Beauty.
1. Appointments and Bookings
Appointments can be booked in person, by phone, online, or via our official booking platform.
A valid contact number and email address must be provided when booking.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual for any reason that does not violate anti-discrimination laws.
2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in the refusal of future bookings.
3. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but your treatment may be shortened or rescheduled.
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their appointment and be treated as a no-show.
4. Health and Medical Conditions
It is your responsibility to inform us of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, or current medications that may affect your treatment.
Certain services may not be suitable if you are pregnant, have a skin condition, or are undergoing medical treatment.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it may pose a risk to your health or safety.
5. Age Restrictions
Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Some treatments may be restricted to clients over 18. Please enquire before booking.
6. Payment and Pricing
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice.
We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and other payment methods specified in the salon.
A deposit may be required for certain treatments or during peak times.
7. Refund Policy
Services are non-refundable once performed.
If you are dissatisfied with your treatment, please raise concerns within 48 hours so we can resolve the issue.
Products may be returned within 14 days of purchase if unopened, unused, and in original condition, accompanied by a receipt.
8. Patch Testing
For treatments involving tinting, lash lifting, or similar, a patch test is required at least 24–48 hours before the appointment.
Failure to attend a patch test may result in your appointment being cancelled or rescheduled.
9. Hygiene and Safety
We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the salon.
All tools and equipment are sterilised between clients.
Clients displaying signs of contagious illness may be refused treatment for the safety of others.
10. Client Behaviour
Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to refuse service and ask any person to leave the premises if their conduct is deemed inappropriate.
11. Gift Vouchers and Promotions
Vouchers are non-refundable and must be presented at the time of booking or payment.
Promotions are valid for a limited time and subject to availability. Terms of each promotion will be clearly stated.
12. Liability
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained on our premises except where caused by our negligence.
We cannot guarantee outcomes of treatments, as results vary by individual.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and store your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and data protection laws.
Your information is used solely for booking, communication, and service delivery purposes. We will never sell or share your information without consent.
14. Amendments
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice.
The latest version will always be available at our premises and/or on our website.
By attending your appointment or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
